Being a VolunStar means representing the best of our community. Here’s what we ask of each other.
Be excellent to each other
Treat every attendee, vendor, artist, and fellow VolunStar with respect, empathy, and patience. We are an inclusive, all-ages community — harassment, discrimination, or exclusionary behavior of any kind is not tolerated.
Represent the mission
When you wear the star, you represent GAAM Good. Be helpful, be honest, be positive. If you see something wrong, flag it to a lead — don’t let it slide.
Safety first
Follow venue rules and event lead instructions. Never put yourself or others at risk. Report incidents immediately.
Have fun
This is a game of Do Good — enjoy playing it. Make friends, learn skills, and help make the event better than it was.
