Our Mission

To create a welcoming and loving hub of creativity for artists and art lovers here in Jacksonville.

Where art, gaming, and creativity collide

Our “Drink + Draw” events are where art, gaming, and creativity collide in an inclusive, welcoming environment. Whether it’s an instructor-led session, freestyle sketching, prompt-driven challenges, or drawing alongside video games, every event is designed to inspire connection and creativity.

Over the years, we’ve seen firsthand how blending art with a relaxed gaming atmosphere has uplifted mental health, provided a meaningful outlet for self-expression, and fostered lasting friendships among our attendees.

In 2023, we proudly expanded to “Dry Drink + Draw” events — alcohol-free gatherings with the same passion for art and gaming, in a safe, pressure-free space for younger audiences and families.

The origin

Born in 2018 as a spin-off of the GAAM Show — a gaming-themed charity art show featuring national and international artists, gaming companies, and local creatives — the GAAM Drink + Draws were inspired by the behind-the-scenes camaraderie of the GAAM team: artists coming together, creating, and forming lasting friendships.

What’s your goal?
Sustain free meetups (supplies, giveaways, volunteer support). With $4,800 we’ll publish 100 copies of a book/magazine featuring local artists. Stretch goal: at $10,000 we’ll host a 2-day Draw Together Art Festival showcasing Jacksonville talent.
What is the “Do Good” part of the Draw Together?
Creating an inclusive, supportive environment for artists of all ages and skill levels.
How can I host a Draw Together at my venue?
We love supporting small businesses and local spaces! You mainly need room for 40+ attendees for a couple hours, and a true appreciation of the arts and artists. Reach out via the contact page!
What is there to do for attendees?
Draw Together🎨. There’s typically also a raffle, and an art competition where creations from the event enter an online art competition.
